Today, many companies are coming up with laptop and tablet designs like we have never seen before. We are now entering a new exciting era (although new eras in the tech world today come every 18 months or so), where tablets are slowly becoming productivity machines, thanks the the increase in computing power and operating systems like the Windows 8 OS.

With tablet PCs becoming a mainstream computing platform. Microsoft has caught up with the game with the Windows 8 OS. In a nutshell, the winning factor of Windows 8 is that it integrates a touchscreen interface together with your regular windows experience. You can literally switch between your regular Windows desktop interface and the tablet interface with a touch of a button. Snap on a keyboard to your Windows 8 tablet and you now have a pseudo Windows laptop.
