At the rate that tech gadgets are advancing, high tech houses like those in Jetsons cartoons are beginning to seem less and less farfetched. The Bluetooth Lock
There are currently a few brands in the market that offers Bluetooth locks for sale. These are essentially door locks that can be locked and unlocked using the Bluetooth signal from your phone or a specially made token. As you approach the door, the lock senses the unique Bluetooth signature from your phone where you can now unlock the lock by just touching it. If your phone is out of battery or is not with you for some reason, you can still unlock the door by using a regular key. Some of the best ideas are often the simplest and this cannot be better personified in power sockets that come with USB charging outlets. As you might already have noticed, the majority of our consumer electronics such as digital cameras, smartphones and tablets can be charged through regular USB outlets. Having these power sockets eliminates the need for bulky USB charging adapters.
