Here is a list of very affordable laptops from the brand, as well as a couple with excellent specs-price ratios.

Since the introduction of tablets a couple of years ago, the word ‘netbook’ have faded into oblivion. For those of us that remembers what a netbook is, the 10.1-inch ASUS 1015E is netbook model and at the time of writing, one of the brand’s cheapest laptops. This model comes with a Intel Celeron 847 processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive, Windows 8 and a 10.1-inch, 1366 x768 resolution HD display.

The battery on the device is rated to last up to 7.5 hours on a single charge. It measures 10.32 x 7.01 x 0.93 inches and weighs 2.8 pounds. It may not have the computing muscle to run heavy tasks smoothly but this laptop would make an excellent buy for anyone that is looking for a laptop that is slim, light and affordable to perform simple computing tasks. During the netbook’s heyday, Asus did after all (and probably still do) make the best netbooks in the market. The Asus 1015E is currently on sale for just under $260 each.
